BILLY RAY WATSON, age 55 of Argo, passed away Thursday, September 24, 2026. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bobby Ray and Eva Jo Watson; and sister, Mary Hawkins. He is survived by his sisters, Sheila Whisenhunt (David), Donna Peoples (Johnny) and Rachel Akers; brother-in-law, Darrell Hawkins; longtime companion, Tracy Watson; daughters, Audriana McGuire and Breuana Campbell; 5 grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and his dog, Harley. Billy grew up in Argo and went to Springville School. He worked as a heavy machine operator for many years and attended church at Word of Truth House of Prayer. Billy loved to ride motorcycles and dune buggies, fishing and his family. His family will celebrate his life with visitation on Thursday, October 1, 2026 from 5-7 PM at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel. His service will be at the chapel on Friday, October 2, 2026 beginning at 11:00. Burial will follow at Corinth Cemetery in Argo.
