Brenda Jackson Hawkins, 77, passed away peacefully Thursday, September 2, 2021 at home surrounded by family. She was born on July 30, 1944 in Birmingham, AL, the daughter of the late Verbon and Lydia Jackson. Preceded in death by her siblings Ronald Jackson & Jenny Latta. She is survived by her only child; Son Alan Wolfe;
Grandchildren; Amanda Reynolds (Blake), Jeremy Wolfe (Casie),
TJ Chastain and Madyson Chastain, Great grandchildren Kayden, Kohen, Kinlee, Rylan, Carson, Oaklyn; Brother Tommy Jackson; Special Nephew Brian Jackson (Lisa); Step children; Greg Hawkins(Tammy), Rodney Hawkins(Cynthia), Riley Hawkins(Rhonda) and grandchildren: Josh, Lindsey, Joey, Kelsey, Katie, John Riley and Ross. Brenda loved to dance and was majorette in school. She also loved cooking and family get togethers.

A public visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 from 10:00am-11:00am in the chapel of Johns Ridout's Elmwood Chapel located at 800 Dennison Ave. SW Birmingham, AL 35211 with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 11:00am. Burial will be held at Elmwood Cemetery.
