Dear Brooks Family, I was so surprised to hear that my dear first cousin has gone to heaven.  Even though I know she is in a better place, I just wanted to keep her here.  You have my deepest sympathy and ongoing prayers.  My thanks especially to daughter Donna McCurry for her correspondence.

Carolyn was a dear friend of our family and a precious neighbor and confidant of my motherthe friend she needed during very hard days. Carolyn always made us laugh. We will miss her very much.

So very sorry to hear this. Mrs. Brooks  was one of my Favorite Bosses ever. She was a joy to work for. I know that she has influenced many people and made them strive to be a better person. She will be greatly missed!!
