Catherine T. Howell “Memaw” age 97 of Birmingham born August 12, 1914, passed away March 14, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband, Burton L. Howell; and son, William B. Howell. She was a member of First Baptist Church Fairfield. She is survived by her daughters, Joan Barnes (Jim), and Janet Watkins (William); daughter-in-law, Ann Howell; grandchildren, Patty Brown (Randy), Billy Wess Howell, Michael Barnes (Misty), Wendy Randall (Dennis), Julie Rees (Jeff); seven great grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren who loved and will miss her. She loved Alabama football. Services will be private.
