ROLLAN, CHANCE RICHARD, age 20 of Birmingham, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 20, 2015. He is survived by his mother, Pam Blanks; brother, Chase Wood (Kristi); grandmother, Mary Sue Jones; uncle, Josh Simmons; nieces, Ryleigh, Addi and Harper Wood; nephew, Cason Wood; cousin, Caleb Simmons; and his loving girlfriend, Sarah Shaffield. Chance was loved by all he came in contact with and will be missed. He was a Christian who attended church every time the doors were open. Chance loved music and playing the guitar. He was a hard worker and known to be very selfless. His family will receive friends on Friday, January 23, 2015 from 6-8 PM at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel. His service will be at the chapel on Saturday, January 24, 2015 beginning at 2 PM with Pastor Larry Lamb officiating. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens.
