Charles "Charlie" Howard Carmichael

Charles "Charlie" Howard Carmichael, age 56, of Pinson, Alabama passed away on January 2, 2019. He was surrounded by family and friends. Charlie was born on December 4, 1962 to Gene and Elaine (Tyler) Carmichael. He will be remembered by his wife, of 31 years, and best friend, Rita, son Josh (Candace), fur-baby Simba and numerous family and friends.

Charlie was dedicated to his work at ABC Coke for more than 34 years. He held various positions while at ABC Coke but was most recently the By-Products Manager. Aside from his career, some of his true passions in life included Alabama Football, bike rallies and riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle with dear friends and fellow riders. He will be remembered as a dedicated husband, father and friend who loved life and enjoyed living it to the fullest. He is preceded in death by his parents Walter E. and Elaine Carmichael and grandparents, Howard & Letha "Mimi" Tyler and Newton & Lucy Mae Carmichael.

Charlie always had a smile on his face and never met a stranger. He was truly loved by everyone he met. Per his request, no formal services will be held, however a Celebration of his Life will be planned for a later date.

Charlie was always kind and fun to me even as a Tennessee fan. He gave me a good natured hard time but was always fun to be around. I did not know him long but it was the quality of time spent with him. He always made you feel welcome. I will miss him. Love to rita and his family

Tonya andI have only known Charlie for a few years but from day one he was like a life long friend. Always including, never forgetting about his friends . And of course his charming smile and laugh. And who it who can forget about those special events and the bike rallies, so much fun was had with Charlie. We will miss you. 😢

I met Charlie as a teenager when I first moved to Alabama. His parents were dear friends of mine. I will always remember the smile and that devilish kid behind it. Charlie had a heart of gold! My love and prayers go to Rita, Josh, Martha,Jim, Lyle and Tammie. Rest In Peace sweet child!

I didn't personally know Charlie myself, but my boys Sheldon and Colton talked alot about Charlie. I wish I could of met this man my boys thought the world of. I send my deepest sympathy to Charlie's family and friends.
