Chuck, age 73 of Midfield, AL passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2015. He is predeceased by his parents, Jerome C. James, Sr. and Doris Lawley James. Chuck is survived by his daughter, Shannon Kent (Mark); granddaughter, Haley Kent; brother, Jerome C. James, Jr. (Patsy); nephew, Jerry James (Brenda); niece, Tricia Cleveland (Jerry); great niece, Jamie Cleveland; and great nephews, Jake, Ryan, and Joseph James, and Mitch Cleveland (Lindy). He will be remembered for his outpouring love for his family, animals, and nurturing of his extensive collection of plants. The family will receive friends on Monday, August 17th from 9:00 to 10:00 am at Elmwood Chapel with graveside services immediately following at Elmwood Cemetery.
