Charles E. McDaniel

Charles E. McDaniel, age 90, of Irondale, AL., passed away on his 90th birthday on Nov. 15, 2021. Charles was born on Nov. 15, 1931, in Choctaw County in the town of Silas, Al, to Noel and Nattie Lee McDaniel. Charles was an avid Alabama Football Fan and a lover of anything John Deere. Charles loved being with all of his friends and family, and he never met a stranger. Anyone who knew him remembers him being the life of the party and the guy that loved to dance.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife, Peggy Sims McDaniel; children, Lee McDaniel, Ricky McDaniel, Alan McDaniel, and Dewey McElwain; adopted daughter, Denise Wright; siblings, Billie Ruth Crabtree and Priscilla Ann Holmes; 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

A visitation for Charles will be held Thursday, November 18, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Ridout's Trussville Chapel, 1500 Gadsden Hwy, Birmingham, AL 35235. A funeral service will occur Friday, November 19, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Ridout's Trussville Chapel.
