Charlotte Brown Walker (87) of Mountain Brook, Alabama entered into the kingdom of our Lord on December 7, 2023. She is survived by her children Mary Walker and Billy Walker (Jenny) and her grandsons Connor Walker (Natalie) and Hampton Walker. She was predeceased by her husband Bill Walker, daughter Dorothy Amy Walker, sister Dorothy Brown Scholl and parents Ruth Venn Brown and Charlie August Brown.
Charlotte was a graduate of the University of Alabama, a member of Alpha Chi Omega Sorority-Rush Chairman, an Air Force R.O.T.C. sponsor and a Kappa Sigma sweetheart. She was a member of Briarwood Presbyterian Church, Alea Literary Club-past president, Jefferson County Pharmaceutical Association Auxiliary-recording secretary; Salvation Army Auxiliary-life member, and the Arlington Historical Association-life member.
Charlotte was warm and welcoming to everyone she met. Everyone knew her to have a kind and generous heart and delighted in giving more than receiving. Those who knew Charlotte knew her greatest joy was her two grandsons. Charlotte loved her family immensely and loved her Savior Jesus even more which was evident in how she treated others and how she loved making other people happy with the little things in life such as sending out photographs and Christmas cards to her countless friends. She will be dearly missed. A graveside service will be held at Elmwood Cemetery on Tuesday December 12, 2023 at 2:00pm.
