May 12, 1920-September 15, 2015 Clarence William Hamill of Birmingham, Al. age 95, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, September 15th at his home in Moody Al. Clarence was an active member of Woodlawn Methodist Church for many years. He was a Master Mason and also a member of the Zamora Shrine Chanters for over 60 years He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Katherine (Miss Kitty), two daughters, Barbara McGee (James) and Jacquelyn Johnston, Granddaughters, Katie McGee Little (Jonathan), Sissy Ming, Amy Wood (Chris), Grandsons, Billy Harper (Anita), Sid Johnston, Chris Johnston, sister Katherine Lewis, and loved by all of his great, and great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Kate Chaney Hamill, and his father, John Henry Hamill, his three brothers, Jack, Fred and Robert, and one sister Clara Desonier. A celebration of his life will be held at 1:00 at Ridout's Brown Service Elmwood Chapel followed by a graveside service at 2:00pm. He was a wonderful father, husband, grandfather and great grandfather and will be missed so very much. We love you!
