Claudia Davison Crocker

Claudia Davison Crocker, age 77, of Irondale, AL passed away on July 22, 2025. She was born on March 20, 1948 to Jack and Mildred Davison. She graduated from Leeds High School and then graduated from Jefferson State.

Claudia was life-long member of Rose Hill Baptist Church in Irondale, AL. She served as the church secretary years prior to her health declining. She was a devoted Christian. Claudia was a loving mother and Grandmother. She loved her family and her pets.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, Jane Allen Davison and James Anthony Davison. Claudia is survived by her children, Sharon Michelle McGovern and James Kenneth Crocker, her grandchildren, John Thomas McGovern and Emily Katherine McGovern; a brother-in-law, Roddy Crocker. She also leaves behind her close friend, Fred Sprayberry.

A visitation for family and friends will be held at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel on Saturday, August 2nd from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. A funeral service for Claudia will be held at Rose Hill Baptist Church 1670 Alton Rd. Irondale, AL 35210 on Sunday, August 3rd at 2:00 p.m. Family and friends will gather one hour prior to the service.

A committal service will immediately follow the funeral at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East in Trussville, AL. Brother Gary Schultz will provide over the services for Claudia.
