Clifford W. Davis Jr.

Clifford (Cliff) Davis was born in Jacksonville, Florida on September 6, 1947, to Hattie Higgingbottom Davis and Clifford Walker Davis Sr. He died suddenly Tuesday, August 16, 2022, at his residence in Tarrant, Alabama. Cliff was a 1965 graduate of Andrew Jackson High School. Following graduation, he proudly served in the US Marines. As a skilled carpenter, he built many houses and churches in the Birmingham area. Cliff served as an Honorary Deacon at Centercrest Baptist Church in Birmingham, Alabama. He was preceded in death by his mother, father, and sister, Cynthia G Cantrell. Survivors include his brother, Jack D. Davis (Mary Ann) of Springville, Alabama; nieces: Angie Hancock(Jeff) of Atlanta, Georgia & Maegan Lyons (Aaron) of Kimberly, Alabama; great-nieces: Bethany Ann Hancock, Madelyn Hancock, & Madison Lyons; and a great nephew Justin Lyons.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 27th at George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Homes 4747 Main Street Jacksonville, Florida with burial in Restlawn Memorial Park 2600 Ribault Scenic Drive Jacksonville Florida.
