She was a wonderful mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Colleen loved to work in her yard, and watch the birds and squirrels. Colleen also loved to Ballroom Dance in her younger days with her sisters and many friends. She was also an avid member of the Birmingham Skii Club.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James "Jimmy" William Brazil; her parents, Frank W. and Freida Motzkus; her sisters, Bertha Box, Frances Wolfe, Katherine Abel, and Peggy Hardin.
She is survived by her son, Michael James Brazil and wife Rhonda M. Brazil; her grandsons, Brandon Brazil, Jason (Katie) Brazil, Glenn (Susan) Nolen; her great-grandchildren, Haleigh Brazil, Hayden Brazil, Liam Nolen, and Haven Brazil.
Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Ridout's Trussville Chapel. A visitation will begin one hour prior to the service.
