JONES, DAVID LEE, age 57 of Trussville, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 28, 2021. He was preceded in death by his mother, Patsy Jones. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Melissa Jones; daughter, Madison Lee Jones; father, Leroy Jones; sister, Debbie Coyne (Robert); and nephew, Conner Coyne. David worked for Southern Company for 40 years and was a member of Central Baptist Church for 8 years. David was a wonderful husband, father, son, brother and friend who will be greatly missed by all. He enjoyed going to the gym, spending time with his family and dogs, and on Saturday’s he would cheer on his Alabama Crimson Tide. His family will celebrate his life with visitation on Thursday, September 2, 2021 from 10-11 at Central Baptist Church with his service beginning at 11:00. Burial will be at Spring Hill Baptist Cemetery in Cullman at 2:00.
