Delton L Haynes

HAYNES, DELTON L., age 73, currently of Franklin, TN, passed away on Sunday, January 23, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thurman and Waveline Haynes; son, Brandon Lee Haynes; and nephew, Justin Haynes. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Marcia Balentine Haynes; daughter, Lindsay Haynes Sisco (Stephen); daughter-in-law, Colleen Haynes Sheehy (Steve); grandchildren, Sean Sisco, Dylan Sisco and Christopher Haynes; brother, Doug Haynes (Lupe); sister, Sandy Haynes Nolen (Merrell); sister-in-law, Sheila Balentine Benesh (Frank); nieces, ChrisAnn Haynes McGill, Ashley Benefield and Julia Nolen; and nephews, Travis Box, Jack Nolen and Luke Nolen. Delton was born in Cullman, AL and graduated from Jacksonville State University where he met Marcia. He began his career as a CPA with Arthur Young and Co., then started Certified Financial Services, Inc., in Florida, and retired as CFO of Newby Management Co. He was an active member of First Baptist Church Sweetwater in Longwood, Florida, for many years; he also served faithfully at West Bradenton Baptist, First Baptist Bradenton and First Baptist Palmetto. There will be a graveside service on Friday, January 28, 2022 at Forest Hill Cemetery in Birmingham, AL beginning at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Operation Inasmuch, Inc., P. O. Box 2523, Knoxville, TN 37901, or your favorite charity.
