Dewayne Ralph Parker, 57 of Irondale, Alabama was called home by the Lord on August 18, 2017. Dewayne was born and raised in Irondale, Alabama. He loved fishing, hunting, and watching the Tide Roll on Saturdays. Dewayne is preceded in death by his grandparents Paul and Ruby Johnson and Chad Parker and Edna Caruso. Dewayne is survived by his parents Ralph Parker and Evelyn Johnson Parker; life companion Teresa Melvin; daughters Jamie Parker Burgess (James), Kristina Parker Steele (Jake); sons Rick Melvin (Kerri) and Andy Melvin (Kayla) ; grandchildren Austin, Bella, Colton, Baby girl Steele, Matthew, Tiffany, Makenzie, Mariah, and Makayla, several uncles, aunts, and cousins; and 9 cute puppies (his kids). He leaves his loving memories to be cherished by all. He accepted Christ as his Lord and savior.
Visitation will be Monday, August 21, 2017 at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel from 10:00 am until 11:00 am with the funeral service to follow at 11:00 am.
