Donald Wayne Myrick, age 69, beloved husband, father and pop passed away Sunday, January 24, 2021. He is preceded in death by his parents Louise and Monroe Myrick and brother Tommy Myrick. Wayne is survived by his loving wife Lynn; son Donald Myrick(Ivey); granddaughter, Campbell; grandson, Miller; daughter, Amanda Myrick; brother, Randy Myrick(Anne). Wayne graduated from the University of Alabama Birmingham with a building science degree. He was the founder of Myrick, Gurosky & Associates, Inc. for 26 years. Founder and board member of Doulos Partners; and was a trustee on the Southern Baptist Convention Executive Committee. Wayne enjoyed Alabama sporting events, The Red Elephant Club, golfing, fishing, traveling, motorcycles and pickleball. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 27, 2021 from 12pm-2pm with service following at Hunter Street Baptist Church Worship Center. Graveside services will follow at Elmwood Cemetery.
