Donna Faye Gipson, age 71, of Springville, passed away on December 24, 2022. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Pinson. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Margery Weems; and her brother Bill Weems. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Wayne Gipson; her sons, Stacey Wayne Gipson (Allyson) and Troy Gipson (Mandy); her grandchildren, Kirsten and Kyndall Gipson; her beloved dog, Foxie; and several nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 29, from 5-7pm at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel. Funeral service will be held on Friday, December 30 at 2:00pm at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude’s or to Children’s Hospital.
