Donna Patricia Jenkins, 69, of Hoover Alabama died May 3rd 2014. Pat was a loving, daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She passed away peacefully in her sleep May 3rd 2014 at her residence in Hoover. She is survived by her children Doug Jenkins of Cartersville, GA and Tammy Jenkins of White, GA; her grandchildren James Jenkins of Auburn, AL and Isabella Jenkins of Cartersville, GA; her sister Mary Ann Pross of Marlboro, NY; her brothers John S Malanowski and his wife Susan of Lincoln, MA, Paul Malanowski of Greensboro, NC, and Mark Malanowski of Chester NY; her nephew John A Malanowski of Grand Rapids MI; her many adopted sons and daughters, which includes Cavanaugh Colbert, his wife Jackie, and their son Theophilus of Calera, AL and the many brothers of Sigma Pi fraternity, kids from Berry High School, and a host of friends. She thoroughly enjoyed talking to people and never met a stranger. Pat loved having a house full of people to entertain and she will be missed by many. The family had a private viewing at Elmwood Chapel and Pat’s cremains will be placed in Jacksonville, FL, with her parents, the late Mr. and Mrs. Donald M. Brown, at a later date.
