Donna Dean Willis, 79, of Old Hickory, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on May 10, 2026. Born on November 13, 1946, in Birmingham, Alabama, Donna lived a life filled with love, dedication, and cherished memories.
Donna was the beloved wife of the late Ed Willis, with whom she shared 44 wonderful years of marriage. Together, they built a life centered around family and community. She is survived by her son, Crossley Edward Willis III, who brought immense joy to her life. Donna is also survived by her sister Terry Dean Beeler (Ken) of Old Hickory; her nephew Eric Dean Beeler (CJ); and her great-niece Peyton Beeler, all of Atlanta, Georgia. She leaves behind many cousins and dear friends in North Carolina and Alabama who will remember her fondly.
Donna was predeceased by her parents, Jo and Ralph Dean, whose values and love shaped the remarkable woman she became.
A dedicated businesswoman, Donna co-owned Doc's Warehouse alongside her husband. Her work ethic and commitment were evident in every endeavor she undertook. Beyond her professional achievements, Donna had a deep passion for giving back to the community. She had been involved in the Special Olympics, dedicating her time and energy to supporting this meaningful cause.
Donna’s personality shone through in her hobbies and interests. An avid reader with an insatiable curiosity for knowledge, she was rarely without a book in hand. She found joy in solving crossword puzzles and embraced every opportunity to travel. Bowling was another pastime that brought her happiness and camaraderie.
Above all else, Donna cherished her family. She took immense pride in being an excellent mother and found great joy in nurturing those she loved most. Her warmth and devotion left an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to know her.
