OBITUARY
Doris Null Gilardoni
May 23, 1933 – March 15, 2023

Doris Null Gilardoni died on March 15, 2023. She was born on May 23, 1933, to Jimmy and Mae Scott Null. She was raised in Birmingham, AL, and graduated from Woodlawn High School in 1950. In 1955, she married Lewis T Gilardoni, Jr. He preceded her in death on June 23, 2004. As a result of his job, they lived in several states where they made friends who became lifelong friends. They were blessed with four children: Tom Gilardoni in Arizona, Ron Gilardoni in Valrico, FL, Laurie Lea in Mt. Juliet, TN and Steve Gilardoni in Houston, TX.
She is survived by grandchildren: Jessica Chancey, Jenny Brooks, Blake Lea, Ryan Murphy and Andres Valenzuela; and great grandsons Aiden Malone and Eli Chancey, and great granddaughter Marlee Brooks. She is survived by brother Jim Null (Eleanor) in Columbia, SC and preceded in death by sisters Gloria Glass and Charlotte Turner along with many nieces and nephews.
Her greatest blessing were here family, friends, and her Church. She devoted her time to taking care of her household and family.
A visitation for Mrs. Gilardoni will be on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 from 2pm until 2:30 pm in the Celebration Chapel at Johns Ridout's Elmwood Chapel followed by a celebration of life at 2:30 pm. Mrs. Gilardoni will be laid to rest at Birmingham's historic Elmwood Cemetery in block 41.
The family request that any remembrances be given to Prince of Peace Catholic Church, the Alzheimer Association or any children organization.
