Doris Smith Perry, 92, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, August 27, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Wilkins Perry; brothers, Robert Owen Smith, James Howard Smith and Edward Louis Smith. Doris is survived by her daughter, Lynn Perry Sharp (Greg) and grandson, Brian Gregory Sharp (Emmy). She was a founding and faithful member of Shades Mountain Church of Christ. The family wishes to express their appreciation to the special caregivers at Lipford Home Care. The family will receive friends on August 30, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Elmwood Chapel Funeral Home with a Graveside Service to follow at 2:00 p.m. at Elmwood Cemetery.
