Dorothy “Spot” Taylor Armstrong, age 87, of Trussville passed away May 2, 2016. She was preceded in death by her parents Tom and Gertrude Taylor; sister Elizabeth Wallace; and brother James Taylor. She is survived by her devoted husband of 62 years Murray Armstrong: daughters Kaye Miller (Randy) and Anne Armstrong (Jack Feller): grandchildren Brian (Kristen), Scott (Allie), Marianne, Blair, and John.
She was an active member of Roebuck Park Baptist Church for many years and was currently a member at First Baptist Church of Trussville. She enjoyed playing bridge, travelling, shopping, and especially spending time with her family and grandchildren. She was dearly loved by her family and friends. We will miss our “Spot”.
Visitation will be Thursday, May 5, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel with the funeral service to follow at 2:00 PM. Interment will be at Jefferson Memorial Gardens.
