Dorothy Ann Curtis of Pell City and formerly from Irondale, AL was born August 24, 1935 and passed away on December 24, 2019 at the age of 84. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who was very much loved and will be greatly missed. Mrs. Curtis had attended First Baptist Church of Irondale for many years. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, R.C. Curtis and a brother, Frank Rothe. She is survived by her daughter, Pamela Rich; a son, Howard Curtis; brothers, Freddie Rothe, Robert Rothe (Margaret) and Jimmy Rother; sisters, Sara Lett and Helen Kendrick; her loving grandchildren, Natasha Curtis (Willie), Misty Sims (Rodnell), and Tyler Curtis (Nikki); great grandchildren, Nick, Brooke, Jalina, Jayden, Cameron, Aaliyah, Katelyn, Savannah, and McKenzie; several nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
Services will be held on Monday, December 30, 2019 at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel at 11 AM and visitation beginning one hour prior at 10 AM. Interment will follow in Jefferson Memorial Gardens.
