

FAUGHT, MRS. DOROTHY SCHILLING Mrs. Dorothy Schilling Faught passed away on August 1, 2011. She was born February 15, 1915, in Springfield, Missouri. She married Holland Faught in 1933. During World War II, she was honored to work for Colonel Robinson at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Baltimore, Maryland. Later, she and her husband moved to Birmingham, Alabama. After their return to Birmingham, the couple joined Trinity United Methodist Church, and the Friendship Sunday School Class. Also, they were Charter Members of Vestavia Country Club. Mrs. Faught was a member of the Les Meres Club, Floribunda Garden, and Daughters of the American Revolution. She served in many civic organizations including the Pink Ladies Auxiliary of the University of Alabama Hospital. Mrs. Faught was preceded in death in 1982 by her beloved husband, Holland Reeves Faught. Mrs. Faught will be missed by her surviving friends and family who include two daughters, Deborah Faught Lange and her husband, Marty Lange, Carole Faught Vines and her husband, Frank Vines. Her grandchildren include Matt Lange (De De), Katie Vines Poole (Bryan), Andy Lange (Carol), and Julia Vines Levio. She was also blessed with six great grandchildren: Jack Poole, Frank Poole, Allen Levio, Avery Lange, Drew Lange, and Catelyn Lange. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that all donations be made to the Big Oak Ranch, the Salvation Army, or Trinity United Methodist Church. A memorial service will be held at Trinity United Methodist Church at 11 :00 on Wednesday, August 3, 2011, followed by a reception in the Fellowship Hall. .
