Mizerany, Dorothy Johnson passed away Saturday, December 10th, 2016. She retired from South Trust Bank with 50 years of service. She worked throughout the system, with the last 30 years spent at the Homewood Branch. She was predeceased by her husband, Fred Mizerany, parents Roy & Hattie Johnson, sister Merle Taylor and brother,Charles Johnson. She is survived by her daughter, Patsy Diane Milazzo (Tony), grandsons Jason Milazzo and Andy Milazzo (Beth), and four great grandchildren, Sophia, Savanna, Avery, and Andrew Milazzo, along with numerous nieces and nephews. She is also survived by sisters Edwina Zales (Bill) and Doris Gustin, who spent many hours each week helping with her care as her Alzheimer’s progressed. Visitation will be at Ridout’s Elmwood Chapel on Tuesday, December 13th from 12:00 to 2:00. A rosary service will begin at 2:00 followed by burial at Elmwood Cemetery .
