Dorothy J. Olvey, 91, passed away peacefully with a smile on her face on Friday, Sept. 29, 2017. I'm sure she was looking into the face of God. Dot never met a stranger, loved her family and she was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents Rev. Frank and Emma Johnson and husband, Charles and son Frank Olvey. She is survived by her sister, Janice Daniel; daughter, Dean Johnson (Ron); son, Don Olvey (Lisa) and many grand and great grandchildren and a host of family members. A big thank you to Belinda for her care to mother and also to Southern Comfort Care. The family will receive friends on Wed. Oct. 4, 2017 from 10 to 11a.m. with a celebration of her life following at 11a.m. at Elmwood Chapel Funeral Home.
