BEASON, DREXEL R., age 88 of Birmingham, passed away Thursday, February 20, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Beason. She is survived by her daughter, Beth Beason of Ft. Walton, FL; son, Roger Beason; and grandsons, Kevin Beason, Paul Beason and Matthew Beason. Drexel graduated from Montevallo College in 1949 and retired from teaching after 14 years at Warrior High and 17 years at Huffman High. Her family will receive friends on Monday, February 24, 2014 from 12:30- 2 at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel with her service beginning at 2 PM. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens.
