Dwight C. (Babe) McBride, age 86, of Lenoir City, TN, passed away Friday, June 24 at home from cancer. He was preceded in death by parents, Henry and Annie McBride, sister Maxine McGavock, brothers Clarence McBride and Herbert Leon McBride. He is survived by his wife Sharon, brother Harold McBride of Birmingham, son David McBride of Marietta, GA., daughter Leigh (Gene) Ross of Acworth, GA, grandchildren, Lacey and Rex Ross. The family will receive friends Wednesday, June 29, from 10:00-11:00 am at Elmwood Chapel Funeral Home with funeral service following at 11:00 am. Burial at Elmwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, make memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society.
