BUCHANAN, EDITH R. age 85 of Center Point, Al. passed away Tuesday, June 7, 2011. She was predeceased in death by her husband Uyles P. Buchanan. She is survived by 2 sons, Kerry Buchanan of Center Point and Steve Buchanan of Lincoln, Al; 2 brothers, Paul Ratliff of Gadsden, Al. and Clarence Ratliff of Center Point; 1 sister, Doris (Arnold) Copeland of Lizella, Ga. and a number of nieces and nephews. Mrs. Buchanan was born in and a lifelong resident of Alabama. She retired from Hayes International in Birmingham after 30 years of service. Funeral services will be Friday, June 10,2011 at Ridout's Trussville Chapel at 10:00AM with visitation Thursday, June 9,2011 evening from 5-7PM at the funeral home. >
