So sad to learn of the death of Ed and my cousin June. Ed has always been there for the Keith family and I well remember his service several years ago for my grandmother (Bettie Keith). Although, I have not lived in Argo, AL for over 40 years, our family visits "home" have been many. I was blessed to see Ed at my aunt's funeral in May. God bless this beautiful family.

Brother Ed Massey is someone I did not know for a long time. I wish that I could have known him longer! His sermons were some of the most powerful and moving sermons I have ever heard. He was an excellent speaker! One moment he would have me so engaged in scripture truths and the next moment engaged with unstoppable laughter! His wisdom and wit were unmatched! My studies of Abraham Lincoln led me to see many similarities between these two great men.
Cheryl and family, Mike and I have been praying since we learned of your loss of your precious parents. We love you and will always hold dear the memories of your family.
Love and prayers,

Ed Massey!! This sweet man gave his heart and soul to his ministry. He truly cared for all people and was always there to help no matter what the situation was. He went beyond the call of duty to minister to people's needs. Bro. Ed loved his family and was their spiritual leader, as well as a loving husband, Daddy, Granddaddy, and Great Granddaddy. In addition, he loved his church family and cared deeply about each one of them. I know without a shadow of a doubt that Jesus will say to him, "Well done, my good and faithful servant! My family and I have been so blessed to have had him as our pastor for so many years, and even after retirement, he was there for us. Ed Massey, you and June have a special place in our hearts. We love you both and we will see you soon.
