WILKINSON, EDWIN ESLEY, age 92 of Birmingham, died December 27, 2015. He was a member of Gardendale First Baptist Church. He retired after 44 years from L&N/CSX Railroad as a Conductor/Foreman. Mr. Wilkinson was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Annie Carol Wilkinson; and his wife of 10 years, Randi Wilkinson; and sisters, Gaynell Cotton and Jean Tidwell. Survivors include one son, David Wilkinson (Nina); four daughters, Carol Ann Shannon (David), Sandy McGahey (Jeff), Lorna Rader (Mike) and Shannon Tucker (Frank); 10 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; sisters, Joyce “Bit” Goodwin (Shorty) and Montez “Tump” Early (Tim); and a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on January 2, 2016 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM with service at 2:00 PM at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel with Brother Herman Pair officiating.
