Loving mother, wife and grandmother, Elizabeth was born on April 26, 2024, in Wylam, Alabama. She graduated from Ensley High School and then furthered her education at South Highlands Infirmary where she earned her degree as a registered nurse. Elizabeth was a faithful life member of Wylam Presbyterian Church until its closing and then joined Pleasant Grove Presbyterian Church. She faithfully served in many capacities in both of these settings and loved to call and send cards to others even in her last few days. She enjoyed spending time with her family, playing Skip-Bo, making pound cakes and shortbread, watching her hummingbirds, but most of all she was faithful to the Lord. She began each day with Bible readings of Psalms 23, 100 and 104; and she would remain faithful until the end.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Children’s Hospital of Alabama, St. Jude Children’s Hospital, Shriners Hospital for Children or your favorite charity.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 30, 2024, at John Ridout's Mortuary Elmwood on Dennison Avenue from 12:30 until 2:00 PM with services immediately following and burial at Elmwood Cemetery.
