Elizabeth found joy in serving others. She regularly visited shut-ins or those who were in the hospital and served her community through Discovery Clubs of Alabama, Center Point Civitan Club, her neighborhood HOA, and the Lazy Daisy Garden Club. She also worked for many years at Pinson Elementary.
Elizabeth was also able to travel extensively, making several trips to Hawaii, Europe, and Greece to visit family, visiting many National Parks with her children and grandchildren, and working with groups on mission trips to Honduras and Romania.
The family would like to say a special thanks to the members of First Baptist Church Pinson, Comfort Care Hospice, and Visiting Angels for their loving care during her illness.
