Betty was a truly remarkable woman! She was a top executive at her bank during a time when those positions were only held by men! You couldn't ask for a better mother in law! Oh we had our times when we butted heads, but were always there for each other when it counted most! She loved her family and did whatever she could for each of us to help us on this journey we call life. Thanks for everything Betty...you will always be remembered with love and gratitude...God speed. P.S. Give Howard a big hug and kiss for me. Mary Lou

I will forever remember the weekends in mountain brook with Mamaw, the trips to the zoo, and just walking around town. Mamaw had a special place in my heart and I will forever cherish her and the morals that she instilled in my heart at such a young age! She was just a special woman and an angel on earth! I love you Mawmaw forever and always! Also I am sending love and prayers to all my family, and want to thank you all for being the family you didn’t have to be!
