Just yesterday, we learned of Elizabeth's passing. The Avsharian family, and all of us at SHAR Music, offer our deepest condolences to Kenneth and the family. Elizabeth was a cherished colleague in music, who generously contributed so much of her own self to her students. She carried on her work through her Musical Alphabet Scale Book for Violin, which we were privileged to offer our customers for so many years. Elizabeth was a role model for her students, and will always remain an inspiration to all of us.

Oh Elizabeth...you are  an Angel...you help us a lot when lived in the U.S....Comadre how difficult  was to know that left us and went to the other life...my family will remember you...Gabriel your GodSon  is sad ..everybody at home here in Quebec are crying ...Elizabeth  thanksyou so much for all your help and support when we lived in Vermont...You are in heaven  ...WE WILL REMEMBER YOU

I am so sorry to hear of Elizabeth's passing.  I was trying to locate her to tell that my son just starting playing the violin and I was so proud to be passing down so many of the wonderful lessons that she taught me.  She will always be my favorite teacher. She will be missed.

I endured through many violin practice sessions at home as well as elementary and high school concerts listening to Elizabeth play! To Ken and Family:  I want you to know how much I value my all too short time becoming a friend to Elizabeth.   Elizabeth and I had many face to face talks over the past five years.  We shared our experiences of viewing the Shroud of Turin in person at two different points in time. We exchanged references regarding the Holy Trinity and had many in depth discussions regarding its origins from the Eastern Orthodox tradition. Her knowledge base regarding our Catholic faith was immeasurable and I learned something new every time we had a chance to talk.  She helped reinforce my faith by encouraging me to look deeper into the origins of our belief.  Without doubt, she was my spiritual guidance counselor.  She is now one with the Father in heaven transfigured into a continuum of light that emanates a never ending love residing outside time itself. She is forever more joyfully granting ceaseless praise to the Father and Jesus in unison with the saints and previously departed faithful guided by the Holy Spirit.   Thanks Be to God.
