Ellen Daniel

Catherine Ellen Daniel was born September 22, 1927 and passed away on November 25, 2011. Ellen was a graduate of Blessed Sacrament School and West End High School. She was a lifelong member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. She was a member of St. Bernadette's Band and faithfully served her parish as a Eucharistic Minister, Sacristan, Altar Sodality president, and Parish Council member. She is preceded in death by her father, Edward Ryan; mother, Mary Ryan; husband, Ed Mann Daniel; and daughter, Beverly Daniel Grisham. She is survived by daughter, Ann (Kenneth) Noblitt; daughter, Virginia "Ginny" Daniel; son, Tommy (Lynda) Daniel; son-in-law, Collins Grisham; 7 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren with 2 more on the way; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Elmwood Chapel on Monday, November 28, 2011 from 5:00-7:00 pm followed by a Rosary at 7:00 pm. The funeral Mass will be on Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at 11:00 am at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church followed by burial at Valhalla Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. She is dearly loved and will be missed incredibly.
