Alta Elwys Fawl Imler, 92 of Charlotte, NC and formerly of the Vestavia Hills, AL, went to be with the Lord on Monday, April 28, 2014. She was a member of the Vestavia Hills United Methodist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, Carl Charles Fawl and Lottie Wright Page, husband, Allison E. Imler, M.D.. Survivors include daughter Teresa Imler Westbrook and husband David of Charlotte, NC, sons Thomas Allison Imler and wife Sharon of Vienna, VA, Stephen Wayne Imler of Mariette, GA and Daniel Harry Imler of Vestavia Hills, AL. Grandchildren Emily Westbrook Abramson, Brian David Westbrook, Justin Stuart Westbrook, Allison Taylor Westbrook and Amelia Aibena Mazzei. The family will receive friends from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM, Saturday, May 3, 2014 at Elmwood Chapel, with graveside services following. Interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may go to Vestavia Hills United Methodist Church.
