He was preceded in death by his parents Ernest and Pauline Cornelius. He is survived by his son, Kenneth Cornelius, granddaughters Ashlyn and Kensey Cornelius, brother, Jack (Joyce) Cornelius, sister, Nancy (Fred) Orange, nephews, Keith Cornelius, Garrett and Baker (Andrea) Orange and his Little Dog, Casey.
The family would like to express it's sincere appreciation for the love and care given him by Rhonda Brown, and Renee and Boyce Teer of Cullman, AL. during his illness. The family would also like to express it's sincere appreciation to Karen Gordon, Robbin Tucker, Kathy Malchow, Sonia Norris and Chaplin Larry Duke of Omega Hospice of Cullman, AL for the love and care given during his illness.
The viewing will be Thursday, March 29 from 9:30 am - 11 am with the funeral service and burial following at Johns Ridout's Elmwood Chapel in Birmingham, AL. In lieu of flowers donations can be sent to the American Cancer Society or the Humane Society
