Estelle M. Clark, age 99 of Vestavia Hills passed away Saturday, May 6, 2017. Retired as Head Teller with Regions Bank formerly First National Bank of Birmingham and attended Raleigh Avenue Baptist Church. Estelle was born in Jemison, AL to Carl and Florence Tubb McCarty on November 18, 1917. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elwood "Bill" Clark; her sisters: Eva Clestelle Barry and Audelle Daniell; her brothers: Austin and Dalton McCarty. Survivors include her nieces and nephews: Ned (Tracey) Daniell, Nina (Bill Schmitt) Boston, Tim (Denise) Daniell; Danny (Ruth Ann) McCarty and Kitty Bussey. Estelle will be missed by her friends at Chateau Vestavia and was known as the "official time keeper". She loved crocheting and Bingo. Her service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at Ridout's Elmwood Chapel with burial in Elmwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Arrangements under the direction of Johns-Ridout's Mortuary-Elmwood Chapel, Birmingham, AL.
