

Eunice Turner Cooper of Birmingham, AL passed away on Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at the age of 93. She was a wonderful and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who was very much loved and will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred H. Cooper, Jr. whom she outlived by 30 years. They were always very competitive – so she won that also; her brothers and sisters, Victor Turner, Clinton Turner, Doris Turner, Ivan Turner, Ivan Turner, Alvin Turner, and Ina Foster (Nee Turner). She is survived by her children, a son, Fred H. Cooper Jr., and her daughters, Margaret Sandoval and Rachel Cooper; her two grandchildren, Thomas Cook and I’Leah Sandoval; one great granddaughter, Karoline Cook. Mrs. Cooper worked as a legal secretary at Bradley, Arant, Rose, and White in the 40’s. Mr. Rose was her boss. She retired from Visiting Nurses Association in 1997 as a medical transcriptionist.
A visitation will be held on Friday, October 25, 2019 at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel from 1 PM to 2 PM followed by a graveside service at Jefferson Memorial Gardens beginning at 2 PM.
