Eva Phillips, age 92, of Center Point passed away Friday, December 2, 2016. Eva was preceded in death by her husband Howard W. Phillips. She is survived by her children Michael Phillips (Kathy), Randy Phillips, and Dawn Holliday (Darrell); nine grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and her brother Bill Satterfield (Sydna).
She was a member of Jefferson State Senior Center water aerobics, enjoyed playing cards at the senior center and taking road trips with the ”Garden Club”.
The family wishes to thank the “Garden Club” and her other friends for their loving friendship to their mother and her family. The family knows that she impacted her friends and many others with her living spirit and faith in God.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude’s Children Hospital.
Visitation will be Sunday, December 4, 2016 from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel. There will be a graveside service Monday, December 5, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Forest Hill Cemetery.
