SMITH, EVA JOYCE, age 80 of Moody, passed away Saturday, February 20, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Smith. She is survived by her sons, Michael Smith (Michelle), Stephen Smith and Thomas Smith (Rhonda); brother, Curtis Hardy (Ann); and grandchildren, Luke Smith and Kate Smith. Joyce was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She had a long career in the airline business with United, Frontier and Continental Airlines starting off as a flight attendant and transitioning to the office. Her family will receive friends on Thursday, February 25, 2021 from 1-2 PM at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel with her service beginning at 2 PM. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens.
