Evelyn Key Hardwick

Evelyn Key Hardwick-- Evelyn went to be with her Jesus on September 3, 2023 after a long, happy life since her birth in 1927. She is survived by her sister Mildred Thomas of Clay, AL, her two sons, John Hardwick + wife Peggy in Canton, GA, Jack Hardwick+ his wife Carolyn of Leesville, LA....her 3 grandchildren John C Hardwick + his wife Elizabeth of Clarksville, TN, Tyler Hardwick of Beaumount, TX, and Leslie Hicks + her husband Kyle of Canton, GA. Along with her great grandchildren Bridget + Mack Mitchell of Leesville, LA, Reagan + Ty Hicks of Canton, GA. and even her great- great grandkids Luke and Violet Mitchell of Leesville, LA. Her family will miss her very much but knows she will be joining her loved ones who preceded her in heaven. Her mother and father, Cora Mae and Mack Key, her older siblings, John Key + Joyce Sertell, and her husband JM Hardwick will be there to welcome her with open arms into the Kingdom of God.

A celebration of life gathering for Evelyn will be held Saturday, September 9, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Ridout's Trussville Chapel, 1500 Gadsden Hwy, Birmingham, AL 35235, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM.
