Owens, Evelyn Cantey age 91 of Montgomery, AL Passed away on January 30, 2013 at The Olive Home Assisted Living in Oneonta, AL. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Ruth Cantey; 7 brothers and sisters. Evelyn is survived by her husband of 51 years, John Wesley Owens; children, Johnny Owens and Jackie (Beau) Yarbrough; sister, Zara Grace of Montgomery, AL and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Friday, February 1, 2013 from 5 PM until 7 PM at Ridout's Trussville Chapel. A graveside service will be held Saturday, February 2, 2013 at 1 PM at Tompkins Cemetery in Shopton, AL.
