Fannie Mae Tucker Daniel passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at the age of 98. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister who was very much loved and will be greatly missed. She was precdedin death by her husband, Jimmy Daniel; a son, Ricky Daniel; her parents, Samuel Alvin Tucker and Mamie Tucker; four brothers and six sisters. Mrs. Daniel is survived by three children, Joy Sanders (Mike), Wesley Daniel (Brenda), and Vickie Daniel; her sister, Jean Rhodes (Crit); grandchildren, Jason Howell (Mandy), Alisha Womack (Jay), Jessica Blackerby (Derek), Brooke Schmohl (Chris), Holly Cornwell (Tim), James Daniel III, Brett Bulter (Dawn); Michael Sanders (Cindy), John Sanders (Elise), Daniel Sanders and numerous great-grandchildren.
To all the friends and family that have stayed in touch with Fannie over the years and to the staff that has been like family to all of us at Village East Assisted Living, we love and appreciate all that was done for our Mom.
Mrs. Daniel was a member of South Avondale Baptist Church well over 50 years and then attended Irondale First Baptist Church as they consolidated. She spent her final years worshipping at Eden Westside Baptist Church. She loved Jesus, her big family (especially the kids), her many friends and felt so blessed to have them all in her life. She loved to work with children and taught Sunday School classes, VBS, and loved having church socials at her house for youth groups from the church. Mrs. Daniels worked for many years and retired from Lamson & Sessions Company.
We know she is at peace and now rejoicing with her family and friends in Heaven. Her services will be held on Friday, August 7, 2020 at Ridout's Trussville Chapel with visitation beginning at 10 am and chapel services at 11 am. Interment will follow in Jefferson Memorial Gardens in Trussville, AL.
