Faye was born in Jasper, AL. Faye lived a full happy life filled with family, love and a never stop attitude. Her family and friends often said there was nothing she couldn't do if she set her mind to it. In 2015 she was honored with an Alabama Senior Citizens Hall of Fame Award.
Faye was preceded in death by her husband, James “Herschel” Williams, Jr. and a daughter-in-law, Diane Strickland. She is survived by her son, James “Michael” Williams; daughters, Donna Carol Lawson, Linda Gail Dalton and son-in-law, Richard E. Dalton; her grandchildren, Brandon Cook, Blake Lawson (Linsey), Lindsay Boothe (Casey), Rochelle Steketee (Nicholas), Breagan Lawson and 6 great grandchildren, Cameron Boothe, Kaylee Cook, Paisley Lawson, Brielyn Cook, Katherine Faye Steketee and Hudson Steketee.
The family would like to thank SouthernCare New Beacon Hospice and the wonderful caregivers at Happier At Home.
A graveside memorial will be held at Jefferson Memorial Gardens in Trussville, AL on Thursday, June 19th at 10:00 a.m.
