

Fern was born on November 21, 1943. She was raised in northern Minnesota. She was the youngest child of Joseph and Margaret Chenoweth.
She met her husband R. H. (Ron) Creamer, Jr. when he was stationed in Duluth, MN. They married and moved to Birmingham, AL in 1964. She graduated from Samford University School of Nursing and was employed at Baptist Montclair for 25 years. She also taught at the Red Cross.
Fern was preceded in death by her parents and her in-laws R. H. Creamer Sr. and Alice Creamer, as well as two sister-in-laws June B. Chenoweth and Helen D. Creamer.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years Ron Creamer; children Sherry Morgan, Stacey Bell (Chuck) and Brandon Creamer (Amanda); five grandchildren Kelsey and Eric Morgan, Maggie Bell, Brandon and Kaleb Creamer and another grandchild soon to be born; sister Beverly Wittler (Marvin); brother Richard Chenoweth; sister-in-law Mary Coe (Zack); and brother-in-law Phil Creamer.
Fern was a long standing member of Pilgrim Congregational UCC and also a foster parent with the Children’s Aid Society, fostering over 35 babies.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society or the Zamora Shriner’s Transportation Fund.
