

Frances Copeland Bryant passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2022. She was born in Akron, Ohio, on July 2, 1927. She was pre-deceased by her parents, Ollie and Lela C. Copeland and Wilma J. Copeland, her husband of 43 years, Simpson H. Bryant, her son, Timothy M. Bryant, and a very special aunt and uncle, Pete and Lula Little. She is survived by her children, Teresa B. Atkinson (Jim), Donna B. Sanders (Bob), Philip H. Bryant (Kelli); 5 grand-children who all knew her as “Granny,” Robert H. Sanders (Amanda), Kayla S. Valverde (Geovanny), Jama A. Messner, Mikael M. Bryant, Copeland J. Bryant; 8 great-grandchildren, Chloe and Camille Sanders, Lucas, Eliana, and Franchesca Valverde, Noah, Savannah, and Maddie Messner; Sister, Alice C. Bryant and many loving nieces and nephews.
She graduated from Jefferson County High School. Frances was a charter member of Deerfoot Baptist Church, formerly 85th Street Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School and served on several committees. She was an active member of the Service Seekers Sunday School Class and Good Timers. Frances delivered Meals on Wheels from the Shepherd Center for over 15 years in the Eastlake and Woodlawn areas. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who truly cherished every moment spent with her family. She was an avid Atlanta Braves baseball fan. Frances faithfully served God throughout her life, living every day with gentle compassion, steadfast love, and a spiritual nature for the Lord. She will be dearly missed by family and friends.

A Graveside Memorial Service will be held on Monday, March 14, 2022, at 1:00pm.
