Frank was born in Perry County to Robert Edgar and Maude Lee. He worked at Hayes International Corporation for 38 years and then worked a few years at Shook and Fletcher. Frank was a member of Shades Crest Baptist Church and was a former member at Glen Iris Baptist Church where he taught Sunday School at both churches and served as a Deacon. He was a former member of the Lions Club.
Frank is preceded in death by his beautiful, Cuban wife; Gladys Esther Terradas Lee of 65 years and two sons, Michael Angel Lee and Clifford Thrash Lee. His parents, Robert Edgar Lee, Jr. and Maude Garrison Lee; two brothers, Robert E. Lee II, Horace Wilkinson Lee, two sisters, Caroline Angel and Isabel Traywick.
Frank is survived by his sons, Frank G. Lee, Jr., and Richard (Scottie) S. Lee (Teresa). His daughter, Cynthia (Cindy)L. Lewis (David-favorite son-n-law) and Daughternlaw, Stephanie Lee. Grandchildren, Pilar Lee, Garrison Lee, Spencer Lee, Maddie Lee, Katie Dailey (Juston) Kendall Nichelson (Jud), Fraser Lee, Noah Lee, Sophia Lee, Caleb Lee and seven great grandchildren. Many nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of lifelong friends. We want to thank the staff, nurses, CNA's and others that took such good care of him these last few years at the Oaks on Parkwood. Graveside service will be held on Monday, January 18, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Elmwood Cemetery & Mausoleum. The family requests that in lieu of flowers that memorial donations be made to the charity of your choice.
